Chapel Hill Equestrian provides a safe, friendly learning environment for students of all ages and abilities.
To compliment programs for our private boarders, we also offer a public lesson program currently operated by Andrew and Lori Crihfield and their Spring Haven Stables school horses.
We endeavor to promote a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of horsemanship and horse management. A lesson can cover multiple topics and may be spent both in the barn and the riding area.
Before Riding: All students or parents of students must sign a disclosure of risk and liability release statement.
Required attire for riding at Chapel Hill Equestrian:
- ASTM/SEI certified helmet (available to borrow)
- Hard soled shoes/riding boots
- Long pants, breeches, half-chaps, or chaps
- Modest clothing (draw attention to your horse by good riding not to yourself by what your wear)
